Traveling is my fancy. It allows me to explore deeper meanings of life. It always makes me a better person everytime i come back home, after a while in another place.This time i headed down south of the globe to one of Britain's former colony- SINGAPORE! It was an awesome experience to be there in that petite but very progressive country. I cannot believe my eyes when i realized i was really stepping on that very spot where an English Gentleman-rather businessman- Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles- once stopped by the port to trade on 1818!
The word Singapore actually came from two words: "Singa"- which means Lion and Pura- meaning city in Sanskrit.
